Unspoken Realms

The realms already described are not thought to be the only realms of Faylinn and it is believed that many more will be discovered in the future as we learn more about the Fae and the threat they pose to humanity.

As FDG activity and research uncovers more knowledge, anything discovered about the Fae that does not fit obviously into one of the existing realms is catalogued as being part of the Unspoken Realms.

Some have never been encountered in reality, but only mentioned in texts or legends. Some realms have been described with no reference to any fae rulers; just as wild, uninhabited places where travellers have occasionally returned from, not knowing how they got there, but only that they have been somewhere not-of-this-world.

Some examples which the FDG have found mentioned are:

  • The Hearth Below: Said to burn with the fire stolen from the first angel’s fall. Only children and madmen can survive its heat.
  • The Waxing Mire: Where emotion is stored like honey and dreams stick forever.
  • The Orchard Behind the Sky: A dead realm blooming only during eclipses, where fae once forged their own gods.
