Background: A former shopkeeper, now a widower living alone.
How He Was Taken: In 1968, at the age of three, Stevie disappeared from his home on Christmas Eve while his parents were asleep. He reappeared the following Christmas morning, seemingly unchanged, clutching a silver bell.
Scars: Every Christmas Eve, he cannot sleep, no matter how exhausted. He hears laughter from nowhere and glimpses pale figures through frosted windows.
Present Life: Avoids Christmas entirely. Keeps the bell locked away, but it sometimes rings on its own.
