Aliases: The Tearless Bride, The Crystal Widow, She-Who-Preserves
Description:
Manifests as feminine humanoid encrusted with salt crystals and calcified fabric remnants resembling a gown. Facial features obscured by translucent crust; vocalisations muted but resonant, resembling subaquatic song.
Nature and Behaviour:
Lures victims via emotional resonance — projecting memories of love, grief, or safety. Upon contact, initiates osmotic extraction, rapidly dehydrating victim while inducing euphoria and hallucination of reunion. Victims remain upright, crystallised mid-embrace, often forming museum-like arrangements.
Displays remorse following feeding; will linger near preserved victims, singing softly.
Field Notes:
Recovered specimens (SH-07-1974) showed salt crystal formation originating from lacrimal ducts outward. Crystals contained trace organic matter and identifiable DNA of multiple individuals.
Containment Protocols:
Maintain visual distance only. Emotional regulation drugs advised to prevent resonance reaction. Avoid mirrors or reflective crystal surfaces within the Hollows; her projection often initiates through those media.
