When held to the eye, the glass shows ghost harbours, submerged houses, and people you love already waist-deep and weeping.

Used by fae navigators and grief-diviners, it’s said the Tideglass does not merely reveal—it tempts. Many who gaze too long begin to prefer the drowned world over the real one.

Some Institute operatives use the Tideglass in recovery missions, to glimpse lost settlements or victims swallowed by Salt Hollow distortions. Others have banned its use altogether.
