FDG FIELD REPORT
File No: WX-8
Classification: Mirecourt Entity Interaction – Confirmed Low-Grade Manifestation
Codename: The Wyrmling’s Warning
Location: High Halstow, Kent
Date of Incident: February–March 2011
Status: Archived – Ongoing Monitoring Advised

Initial Summary
A retired primary school teacher, Ms. Eliza Marchant (b. 1942), reported a series of unexplained symbols appearing in the condensation on her kitchen window each morning over a seven-day period. The markings were described as “root-like,” “scrawled from the inside,” and “changing subtly each day.” She initially believed them to be plant growth patterns or early signs of dementia.
On the seventh morning, she discovered a small, dried earthworm coiled in the centre of her china teacup saucer, untouched, though the teacup had been filled the night before.
She noted in her written account:
“It was dead. Dried like paper. Curled in a spiral. Hollow inside. I hadn’t touched the saucer in a week.”
Health Incident
Two weeks following the final window marking, Ms. Marchant suffered a non-fatal stroke during the night. She was found by a neighbour and taken to Medway Maritime Hospital, later transferred to hospice care in March 2011.
In her final month of lucidity, she spoke frequently to hospice staff of “refusing the Queen’s offer.”
When pressed for clarity, she said only:
“It’s the little one they send. The one with the mud hands. I wouldn’t take the message. I wouldn’t open the log.”
No family, friends, or medical staff understood the reference. Staff reported recurring puddles forming near her window despite sealed sashes, and an outbreak of fungus in the plaster above her bed. One nurse described it as “like a face trying to smile through the wall.”

Addendum: Final Recorded Statement (Hospice, April 3, 2011)
“She was so small. Little fingers made of wet thread. I told her no. Told her to leave it in the log. That I didn’t want it. That I’d lived long enough with other people’s children.
She smiled with no mouth.
I think she took a memory instead. I’m not sure whose.”
—Ms. Eliza Marchant, 3 days before final neurological decline
