Thimble-Cup of the Hollow Court

Classification: Royal Charm Vessel
Material: Hollow thimble of unaging brass, set with a single drop of frozen moonmilk

Recovered: In the gloved hand of a withered corpse seated atop a makeshift throne of dolls. Every doll lacked a mouth.

Description:
An oversized thimble worn on a chain. Its interior always contains a single silvery drop, which never spills. If tipped over a wound or object, it repairs the surface illusion—but not the truth beneath.

Properties:

  • Temporarily restores appearances: re-weaving torn fabric, mending scars, hiding rot
  • Known to seal lies in place, preventing them from being revealed
  • Cup never dries unless offered a truth the Queen would approve of

Known Usage:
Crafted by the Queen of Hollow Thimble for her court seamstresses to preserve beauty, silence, and deceit. Said to be the only object she never unpicked.

Warning:
Using the thimble on a living being for more than three consecutive days causes their voice to vanish, stitch by stitch, from the world.
