Description:
An inky black feather, almost glassy in texture, sealed in translucent resin. It vibrates slightly when fae emissaries are near and leaves cold streaks when placed against skin.

Properties:

• Acts as a diplomatic token among marsh-dwelling fae
• Allows brief understanding of heron-speech, the symbolic, shifting language used in Mirecourt
• May be offered in barter for protection, travel rights, or silence

Known Usage:
One of a known set of six “Black Forms” granted to human intermediaries. The feather’s gift is temporary—once used in trade, it turns to smoke.

Warning:
