Aliases: The Frozen Bride, Lady of the Last Vow, The Still Consort

Description:
Apparition of a woman in a gown of crystalline lace and layered salt flakes. Height approx. 1.8m. Face covered by thin mask of white salt through which faint eye-shapes can be seen. Constantly releases powdery residue resembling falling snow.
Nature and Behaviour:
Acts as emissary of stasis and eternal preservation. Offers peace, beauty, and release from decay. Victims describe overwhelming calm and consent to “join her” — resulting in transformation into salt effigies.
Appears primarily at twilight thresholds or during death rituals performed near saline ground.
Field Notes:
Recovered recordings from Sheppey dig site (Thorne Archive, 1780) match vocal patterns attributed to the Salt Bride. Correlation with historical “Salt Lord” phenomena suggests shared lineage or function.
Containment Protocols:
Engagement prohibited. Personnel experiencing emotional despair or bereavement should be excluded from Hollow operations. Use filtered goggles to reduce hypnotic visual resonance.
