Nature and Behaviour:
Roams across wind channels of the Hollows producing harmonic patterns resembling music. Auditory exposure leads to progressive disassociation, memory erosion, and eventual mineralisation of soft tissue. Victims collapse into fine salt dunes.
Functions as psychopomp — guiding lost souls toward dissolution. Responds to questions with modulated pitches resembling weeping.
Containment Protocols:
Absolute sound isolation during traversal of Hollow wind corridors. Ear-sealing compound mandatory. No musical output permitted within 10km radius of known Piper activity.
