Skullcap Fennel

Classification: Hallucinogenic Herb
Location: Open glades where no birds sing; sacred groves

Description:
Stems of faded purple with bell-shaped flowers that resemble tiny skulls. Each flower has five delicate teeth-like petals and a core of black pollen that stains skin.

Properties:
Used in small amounts, Skullcap Fennel induces lucid dreaming and second-sight. Overuse leads to hallucinations involving ancestral voices or forgotten memories.

Lore:
The fae believe this plant grows from the fallen thoughts of dying kings. Mortals claim it was once used in trials of vision among ancient cults.

Uses:
Key ingredient in the Tea of Three Doors, used for scrying rituals. The tea reveals past, present, and future—but never all to the same person.

Warning:
Those who consume too much lose all sense of time. In some cases, users have wandered the Reaches believing it was still centuries ago.
