Description:
Dense thornbushes with iron-grey branches and silver-veined thorns. At moonrise, the entire bush shivers and bursts into spectral bloom—delicate, translucent flowers that shift in shape depending on who is watching.

Properties:
Touching Glimmerthorn releases a resonant vibration through the Briar Reaches. Your voice, even your thoughts if strong enough, may echo across the forest for three nights, drawing attention from beings both curious and cruel.

Lore:
Thought to be bred by the Heron Prince’s mother, the Glimmerthorn grows only where the border between thought and place is thin. Many use it to mark fae thresholds or to weave into wards.

Uses:
Petals harvested under the waning moon can be crushed to make veil-ink—used for writing on memory, dreams, or spirit-bound paper.

Warning:
If blood is spilled upon a blooming Glimmerthorn, the echoes turn into cries, mimicking the victim’s voice until the next new moon.
